Old Washington's two longest running festivals are the Simon Kenton Festival during the 3rd weekend in September and the Frontier Christmas Festival during the first weekend in December. Both events have special music, museums are open for free, vendors selling a variety of crafts, food, gifts, and more are present. Mark your calendars in September and December to plan to join us in 2017.
Simon Kenton Festival is held annually on the 3rd weekend in September. For 2017, it will be held Sept. 16-17.
The 50th Frontier Christmas has come and gone. Thanks to all our volunteers, vendors, musicians, and more who helped make it another special event. Approximately 40 people enjoyed our candlelight tour featuring five museums and special food on Saturday evening. The next Frontier Christmas will take place Dec. 2-3, 2017.
